About the Foundation
Objectives:
To solicit and receive donations and property to benefit the citizens of Viking and surrounding area.
To financially assist health care facilities, programs and services which form part of Alberta Health Services. The funds may be used for construction, renovations, equipment or general support of services in the Viking area not covered by operational or capital funding provided by Alberta Health Services.
To support health and well-being programs and services in the Viking area.
To sponsor further education for staff providing health care for residents of the area.
Purpose:
The Viking Health Foundation generates revenue to enhance health related activities in the community of Viking and the surrounding areas. These funds arise from monetary gifts, fund raising activities and interest from existing assets.
PHILOSOPHY/VISION IS TO UTILIZE ITS FINANCIAL RESOURCES TO ENHANCE HEALTH CARE IN VIKING AND AREA.
